DESCRIPTION:                                2019 KART RACING FOR HEROES \n                                          August 4th\,  2019 \n                                     SBR Motorsport Complex \n  \nThis is our tenth year of honoring heroes of the military\, police and first responders who have served our communities in the past and the present.  The race organizer\, Craig Mansfield\, lost his 23-year-old son\, Senior Airman Kristopher Mansfield\, to an impaired driver 15 years ago.  KART RACING FOR HEROES highlights the prevention of impaired driving and introduces go-kart racing as a way to reduce stress without the use of alcohol or drugs. A KART RACING FOR HEROES booth will have impaired goggles to try and Buddy Cards that set in place a program to arrive home safe and sound. This racing event offers an opportunity for the public to thank our Heroes who protect us on a daily basis.  \n  \nThis year we will be hosting three teams from Buckley Air Force\, the  National Guard\, Wounded Warriors and from the Colorado State Patrol. Each team\, composed of five members\, will compete in a   relay race with mandatory driver changes.  The team with the most laps will be  declared the winner. \n  \n  \nCheck-in and a safety meeting will take place from 2:30 – 3:30pm. The Heroes Race starts at 4 pm. DESCRIPTION:COME WATCH  THE LARGEST KART RACING CLUB IN COLORADO RACE AT SBR \nThe 2019 Colorado Karting Tour presented by CJKC is featuring a wide variety of age groups and engine selections that will compete at each event\, following a one-day race schedule. As the International Karting Federation’s racing series for Region 4a\, CKT has racing classes for IKF karting classes as well as a Regional Iame Series . The Kid Kart and Briggs & Stratton powered categories will be eligible to compete for a regional points championship with IKF in Region 4a. This mixture of racing categories and programs provides a place for nearly every type of kart within the state of Colorado to have a championship to compete in for the 2019 season.

DESCRIPTION:Southern Colorado’s premier karting facility\, SBR Motorsports Park\, will see ROK the Rockies drivers on track for All 6 Events in 2019 Race #1 April 28th. Race #2 May 19th. Race #3 June 16th. Race #4 July 21st. Race #5 August 18th. Race # 6 September 22nd. Located 15 minutes east of Colorado Springs near Peyton\, the track features multi-configurations up to ½-mile. A welcoming venue for ROKKERS\, SBR offers unique terrain and twists and turns sure to provide excitement for the Rockies series. \nThe series will offer all nine ROK classes\, utilizing Vortex Engines and Bridgestone tires following the standard ROK Cup USA rule set.
